TECHNICAL DRAWING
From £200.- (no VAT)
Why use 2D Technical Drawing?
- Machining drawings for castings, components and bodywork that are to be manufactured by a 3rd party
- Conversion of existing paper based drawings to CAD files
- Adjustments of tolerances and dimesions of existing CAD drawings
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to BS, ISO and ASME standards
What have we used this on previously?
- Aerospace and Automotive Product Definition after completing a 3D CAD Design Model
- Gearbox Casings, Cylinder Heads and Cam Covers for machining of new castings
- Saloon car bodywork to accurately manufacture panels and aerodynamic devices
- Kit Car Chassis to enable accurate tubing fit and tolerances for mass production
What do we include in the cost?
- Onsite visit or conference call to discuss requirements
- Suitable CAD files
- Full size paper prints if required
- 3D CAD Model if required
- Component Design and Analysis if required
How long does it take?
- Depending on complexity of components or assemblies drawings can take between one and four weeks to complete
3D MODELLING
From £350.- (no VAT)
Why use 3D Modelling?
- Create a suitable solid surface model for CFD/FEA analysis
- Show component fit when applied to an assembly
- Generate "Real View" design models to show in design and marketing presentations
- Produce surface model to compare final manufactured component against to check conformity
- Generate suitable surface model to generate cutter paths for machining work
